He completed the three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency program at Florida Hospital, where he performed over 1,500 surgical procedures. Dr. Conte has treated an assortment of conditions, ranging from bunions, hammertoes, and heel pain, to complex reconstructive foot and ankle repairs. However, Dr. Conte's treatment philosophy is one where all medical treatment options are explored before surgery is considered.

Dr. Conte was recently appointed a member of the clinical and surgical faculty at the Florida Hospital Podiatric Residency Program. He is an attending physician with the residency and is currently responsible for overseeing the clinical training of the senior residents. Dr. Conte is also a panel physician at the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center and the Comprehensive Wound Care Center at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. Dr. Conte was born and raised in New York City. After attending the prestigious Regis High School in Manhattan, he continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Exercise Science. It was there that he also participated in multiple FDA sponsored clinical research studies. Dr. Conte received his podiatric medical education at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami Shores, Florida, where he again graduated with honors and was actively involved in student leadership positions.

Dr. Conte is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and Florida Podiatric Medical Association. In addition to his podiatric training, he is certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
